A Child is Born

Mothers Helping Mothers

I am a major bookworm, and I know that my sister Erika is one as well. Are there any other bookworms here? What are you reading now? What's your favorite book? What do you like to read the most?

I am currently reading Susan Meissner's A Window to the World, and it is very good. I also read before this her newest novel Shape of Mercy, which was great as well. Right now I'm very much into short easy novels that don't require much thought. My mommy brain is too fried right now for anything requiring too much attention or thought.

Would anyone be interested in doing a book swap? Even if we are in different places we could just ship them to each other and it would be cheaper I think than buying new copies of them. Just a thought.

Wow, kind of crazy I guess, but I am a bookworm too!! :) I think we have about 40 boxes of books. I guess that's why I loved having the bookstore.

Right now I am reading multiple books (surprised I bet Erika & Maura) I am reading a book called Groundswell which is a book talking about all kinds of media research, including blogs, twitter, and communities. Fascinating. Also, Tribes which is by Seth Godin, talking about building communities to connect people. He talks about the need people have for connection. I am also reading a daily devotional called Jesus Calling. and the Leadership Secrets of Billy Graham.

I wish I had more time to read but I catch as I can!

I'm reading Creative Correction by Lisa Welchel and Don't Make Me Count to Three by Ginger Plowman. I recommend both. Very helpful and practical books on parenting.
