I have started making my own laundry detergent with a recipe I found on a very helpful site written by a homemaker mom of eight in Washington state, I think. Www.thefamilyhomestead.com I have grown to love this simple detergent more than any ogf the detergents I have used before. It leaves my laundry smelling much cleaner and fresh than any iother. I especially love how well it cleans my cloth diapers.

Does anyone else have any thing they make or do home made to save money?

I am so impressed. I will have to check out the site. One day when I really get through my storage space I will have to share the Mother Earth magazines with you that had all kind of homemade things in them. We used to be very industrious in our early years. You weren't born yet but you must have been watching!! :)
