Stuttering?

My almost three year old stutters a lot. My other two boys stuttered some but quickly grew out of it. This little guy continues to do so. Any words of advice from those of you that may know/have a stutterer? When do you know it is a problem that could use some help versus just a developmental thing that will pass? We are seeking an evaluation with a speech therapist, but I am having a hard time finding any info/research in the meantime.

Did you see how amazingly smart the ads by Google are? If you look in the column on the right there are all kinds of ads for stuttering websites! How do it know??? :)
