Happy New Year (I know it's late...)
Hello all and happy new year!
I know it has been a good while since I have posted anything here but I have good excuses...or is there ever a good excuse to be quiet?:)
It has been a really tough couple of months but I am believing things are getting better. I lost my job just before Christmas but truth is I could tell it was coming and actually spent night and day working, hoping the extra effort would help business pick up and secure my position. Well, all it did was take all my time and still I was out of a job!
Then what I found was that I had let things go at home that then needed extra effort to play catch up. My youngest son, Ben, does online schooling and he was way behind in his classes. So we have actually been spending 15 hours a day playing catch up. But the good news is he finished his semester at the very last minute last night and we are now home free!!!
Of course, along the way I have been trying to figure out my next step in life...now that I don't have a 9-5 job what am I going to do with myself? I have sent out over 1000 resumes to no avail...I am just one of hundreds of thousands of very qualified folks looking for work...so...I am praying for direction, ideas, and something that will really be a blessing for my family and others...There has to be something that will allow me to use all the experiences and background that I have had to be a blessing to others.
Part of my day is spent searching the web for ideas. In the process tonight I found something that may benefit some of you "A Child is Born" folks. It is a site that helps "producers" link up with "buyers/retailers"...here is the link

Any ideas anyone has for jobs I would sure appreciate them. I am open to moving if necessary because I am sure that God is the one in charge of this next step in our lives!
