Happy Thanksgiving (a bit late)

I had a great plan to tell you all how thankful I am for your participation in this little community as part of my Happy Thanksgiving post, but I just never got there. Almost two weeks ago I was hit by a bug that has knocked me out. I haven't been sick in years but this sure made up for it! I had a bug that made it impossible to eat anything for days and had to work through it...you know I was tired when I got home at night so no postings, no visits, just collapsing!

It sure did make me thankful that I had my husband and grown son to take care of me. It also reminded me of times when I was sick with little people at home. I remember climbing into bed with a pile of books and a pile of kids. There were years when we didn't have a TV (what were we thinking!!) and all we could do was pile up with a bed full of crayons and books. My children were wonderful. They always took care of me. Certainly there were times when things didn't go perfectly...spilled drinks, cracker crumbs in the bed, But for the most part, they were just fun!

I posted the song, "Your gonna miss this" and I must admit, I do....So my bit of advice for today...be thankful for all the moments you have with your little people. And keep on taking pictures...how I wish I had more.
